Lately, I’ve been trying out ChatGPT’s drawing ability, and I’m surprised by how well it can catch the main idea and turn it into a picture.

The first image made me laugh — it’s called Graduate Student Starter Pack. It shows all the little pieces of daily life: a laptop and notes with “focus!!” reminders, a sleepy black cat, French flashcards that say “Je suis fatigué” (I’m tired), bubble tea, instant noodles, and a student with headphones. It felt very real to me, like a slice of my own life as a student, busy but still full of small comforts.

The second image feels softer. It shows a girl sitting by the window, holding a warm cup, with her dog resting beside her. On the desk is a laptop and a notebook that says “ChatGPT.” The light in the picture is golden, peaceful, and calming. When I saw it, I felt understood — like the picture captured how I want to spend my time: slow, warm, and creative.
Trying this out reminded me why I like having this blog. My mind is often busy, and having a place to write and create helps me slow down. Seeing these images felt like my thoughts turning into something I can actually look at.
