A winter walk that felt like stepping into a Winter Wonderland 🤍

Today at Rockwood Park, I slowed down and let nature do its thing.

I saw white-tailed deer quietly standing among the snowy trees, a bright Northern cardinal glowing red against the white forest, chickadees bravely landing on my hand to eat, and curious squirrels hopping around nearby. Everything felt calm, gentle, and unhurried.

Moments like this feel deeply healing. Just walking, breathing cold air, watching wildlife, and feeling connected to nature brings so much peace. It’s a reminder that getting outside — even in winter — is so good for mental health.

Sometimes all you need is a quiet walk, fresh snow, and a little time with nature 🌨️✨
